"If your feet leave the ground, even for a moment, you're flying." ~Haily Bandicoot
I've always wanted to create a vibrant character that I enjoy to draw, and I think I've found it in Haily. I've always admired people who were so full of life, and capturing that essence is as challenging as it is rewarding. This picture was a spur of the moment thing, but I'm happy I finished it. It is set quite far in the future of the Bandicoot Saga, the girl leaping in the air is Haily Bandicoot, Crunch's young daughter. Just behind her is Haily's eager best friend Kaan, a Maned Wolf. Following behind Kaan is Haily's brother Haden with Sonya the Leopard in tow. These friends are inseparable during the early years of childhood, and enjoy dashing around N. Sanity Beach free as the wind. It's so much fun drawing scenes like this, and I hope to draw more when I get around to it^^ |
